STOP Do not buy!
Mine worked for a month and after it ran out of water once it doesn't work at all. I called Honeywell support and they recommended a new cartridge. Water was running through just fine, so not sure why I would need a new one. They implied that I hadn't cleaned it properly. The thing is spotless. I told them I wanted them to send a new one. They said I could send it to them and they would determine wheather or not I had cared for it properly. If not, they would send it right back. If so they would replace. I told them they could send a new one or I was posting a bad review, so here it is! Hopefully no one else gets stuck with this junk.

after 2 months, no mist
I bought this humidifier at Best Buy. It ran for about two months and then started producing less and less mist, despite the fact that I had been cleaning it and I replaced the demineralizer cartridge. The pump works and water flows through the top housing as it is supposed to, but the ultrasonic nebulizer is not working. I see that several others have complained of the same problem.
The other issue I have with it is that the blue light inside the unit is too bright for a bedroom, so I had to cover the water level window with tape to block the light. So now I can't tell what the water level is unless I remove the tape. My advice: save your money and buy a better quality humidifier.

Little guy is sick and no humidifier!
Worked fine the first go round. I had a cold, ran it in the bedroom for a few days. Emptied it out, let it dry, then put in a closet until last night. My 4 year old has a terrible cold & I wanted to add some moisture to the air to help quiet his cough and make it easier for him to breathe. No dice. The pump is dead. Everything else works fine but without the pump it is useless. I'm so frustrated & my poor little guy is miserable. Wish I'd seen reviews before I bought this. And because several months have gone by since I last used it, I can't even return it to Target. (Who is still selling it- shame on them!). This is garbage.
