KitchenAid KUDE60FVSS 24 Dishwasher - Stainless Steel

KitchenAid KUDE60FVSS 24 Dishwasher - Stainless Steel

KitchenAid KUDE60FVSS 24 Dishwasher - Stainless Steel
VERY disappointing - bad product
We replaced all our kitchen appliances with new KitchenAid products - all of them have flaws. This one is the worst. The only pro is how quiet this dishwasher is. Otherwise the dishes don't get clean and ours broke after just 8 months use - $359.80 for parts alone. Yes, it's under warranty, but not much longer and based on the reviews seen also under this very similar model: KitchenAid Architect C Series II : KUDC03FVSS I have no high hopes for the future of this dishwasher. My 11 year-old Kenmore was far superior...the dishes came out super-clean and I didn't have one single repair of any of my Kenmore and Whirlpool kitchen appliances in 11 years. We replaced them because they were old and thought KitchenAid would be a good investment. It's NOT!

Mediocre
I miss the pre "energy efficient" dishwashers of 20 yrs ago that actually cleaned the dishes with lots of water and lasted over 4 yrs... We replaced a highly rated 4 yr old dishwater that stopped cleaning the top rack with this highly rated dishwasher. It has done a mediocre job since the day it was installed. We scrape our dishes (as recommended to save water). About 80-90% come out clean. The rest have dried food debris. I am using environmentally incorrect phosphate containing detergent, rinse aid, occasional vinegar. Cleaning out the filter is a pain. Save your money and buy an old used dishwasher that uses lots of water. ITS NOT ENERGY EFFICIENT IF YOU HAVE TO WASH OR RINSE THE DISHES PRIOR TO PUTTING THEM IN A "DISHWASHER" OR THEY HAVE TO BE WASHED BY HAND AFTER THEY COME OUT OF THE DISHWASHER. -Marcie, North Canton, Ohio

horrible diswasher
I wouldn't buy any Kitchen Aid dishwasher after our experience. This washer's ability to clean dishes has gone from ok initially to unacceptable. It's performance has degraded severely over time. We're washing our dishes by hand until we purchase our next unit and be assured it will not be this brand. Spend wisely, research your considerations on Consumer Reports (it's worth the $5), and avoid the frustration. .. Very disappointing Kitchen Aid.

Their new Superba Series EQ dishwasher reaches a new level of quiet at just 46 dBA (per IEC standards, normal cycle). Featuring KitchenAid's latest in cleaning technology – the EQ wash system – this model delivers the best wash and dry performance while achieving the lowest levels of sound. The model also attains CEE Tier II energy qualification, using less water and energy without sacrificing performance.
