Genuine product and fits the dishwasher but didn't fix my leak, which is not product's fault. If your dishwasher is leaking, replace the latch seal first, it may fix the leak and then, if it doesn't help, thoroughly inspect the seal and look for damage or voids in embossed line from the door pressing against the seal.

easy install push in place. I folded in half to find center of gasket and started at center top at lock.. make sure and watch that it curves and not rolls at upper corners.

Third Try worked!
Previous to my order from an Amazon supplier I had ordered this gasket twice from other vendors on the Internet. Both gaskets were "defective" in that the little tabs broke off the gasket as I was installing it. The second gasket arrived with some of the tabs already broken and lying in the bottom of the bag.

This gasket was perfect. It went in correctly with no broken tabs, was an exact fit and was obviously of high quality (not made-in-China junk). I'd highly recommend it to anyone needing to replace their dishwasher gasket.

Update-11-15-2012
The tabs on both ends of the gasket have started to break off. I'd recommend purchasing two at once since you WILL be replacing it within a couple years...
